Today, the amazing power and low cost of digital technology has transformed most recording projects out of the large studio into smaller spaces and Homes. Once everything is setup and the first recording are undertaken, the reality comes to light.

What seems to sound good at home sounds terrible in the cars and your friends system. The problem is simple no matter how good Microphone and Recording Systems are unless the acoustics are balanced. Your recordings will not respond well when payed on other systems. Hard surfaces such as Gypsms, walls and windows cause primary reflection which make placement of instruments in the sterio field difficult.

Secondary Reflections introduce flutter echo and a reverb trial which interferes with your mix. Low Frequencies Collide either in or out of phase- causing peaks and valleys which create hot spots depending on where you are sitting in the room.
